We’re having our first ice event of the new year, and I’m lucky to be in the cozy indoors. It’s just as well! The ice is like a jump start to what I hope will be an eventful year. Eventful, meaning getting lots of words down, because I’m ruled by these words you all!

But I did want to share what I’m up to these days!

When Jasmine Blooms releases April 11, 2023. This is a contemporary book club fiction, inspired by Marmee of Little Women, about a woman who wonders ‘what if’ after her daughter’s death and gets it. It’s a little bit of a tear jerker! But it has a hopeful ever after!

I signed a 3-book deal with Harlequin Special Edition at the end of 2022! Which means that for the rest of the year, I will be writing these books and their corresponding proposals, along with editing etc. Publication for the first book will be in 2024. This new series is set in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia…so small town here I come! I’m very excited about this series and the new family I will be introducing. Their last name is Espiritu. <3

I’m also writing a short story to be part of an anthology! I can’t say. much about that yet, but let’s just say that there will be wedding bells!
